Oil Filter options

A lot of folks have disassembled oil filters and examined the guts. Fram does not rate highly among them.

Purolator makes a good and relatively inexpensive filter for the M2.

I just picked up Castrol Edge 0-20 oil and a Bosch Long Distance filter on sale at Advance Auto.

Thanks! I'll probably go with the Bosch or Purolator then. The extra price wouldn't be all that much considering I only change my oil every 7,500 miles since it is full synthetic.

A better solution is to simply replace the filter twice as often, if you are worried about it.

You should always replace your oil filter with every oil change.

Or, your oil with every filter change.........

Hey, oil and filters are cheap compared to an engine!!!!!!!!!!!
