Offset +38 ok?

have the opportunity to get some evo VIII enkeis off a friends for stupid cheap, before i give him money, would the +38 offset be to low for our cars? going to be running a 225/45/17 tire

anyone have any experience?

searching +38, evo VIII, evo 8, brings up nothing and searching offset brings up to much lol

They would be to low of a offset.... But dont 100% quote me. But im quite sure they wont fit. They will rub.

They dont suck that bad. Its just you have to find the right offset

But I think +42 is pushing it with rubbing....

17x8 +38 with 215/45/17 tire

i rub in the rears but also look how low it is. gonna raise it up a tad more

that looks good.....I ended up buying 17x8 +46 rota torques for $250

that offset you can get away with 235/40 with a fender pull and some slight rubbage

got some 225/45, i don't like going past 45 due to jersey being bad for potholes and whatnot lol you cali and flordia guys are spoiled lol

sidewall height is about the same between 215/45/ and 235/40

bthen again without proper camber adjustments, and fender work, they WILL rub too much to comfortably drive so 225 is a nice medium
