do u have any hardpipes? I dont see em listed in the sig but u never know :)

also, is that weird lookin filter in the pic the only one that you can get with/put on the SRI?

We do not have a seperate hard pipe kit. Our intercooler piping is not routed the same as the factory. Therefore we cannot sell it by itself.

Our company uses Foam filters exclusively. The performance is great, longevity and reusability is excellent and dirt filtration is superior. The ATV and motorcycle industry have used foam filters for years due to their ability to not hinder performance while pulling unheard of dirt volumes form the incoming air charge.
We translated the use the automotive world because of our focus on turbocharged vehicles. Turbo charged vehicles ingest ten times the amount of air that a normal naturally aspirated engine may ingest. That means 10 times the dirt. It also means that your cotton and gauze filter which you may have been able to clean every 10000 miles should now be cleaned every 1000 to 2000 miles. Because of the foam filters 3 dimensional matrixes the foam filter can continue to collect dirt for more miles without reducing performance.

You can check our web site for more information.

everything's looking really nice perrin (2thumbs). couple questions on your fmic: 1) have you had any cooling issues since your ic is huge? i know a couple of members have expressed concern about that. i'd be worried too cause in houston, it gets really hot. 2) would you do custom orders in regards to an aftermarket bov with the kit? i'm also interested in seeing how you routed the piping.

NO cooling issues. This is a common concern with front mount intercoolers. Many vehicle manufactures stack various radiators do to space constraints. The MINI Cooper comes to mind....This vehicle places the air conditioner radiator directly in front of the cooling radiator.
With all of the vehicles that produce FMIC's for we have never had any cooling problems. On the MSP if cooling is a concern with our front mount intercooler you do have the option of completely removing the stock SMIC. This would net more airflow to the exterior of the engine possibly reducing engine temps by a couple of degrees.

Our designers are coming attempting to make the kit more universal...Future kits may come with some sort of universal bung....I will keep you updated...this will be a ways off though.
In the mean time we do manufacture various bungs to fit other popular BOV's to our intercooler kits. Ask your local dealer for price and availability.

I have some questions about the fuel rail?

1. What benefits will it add to the car?
2. What does it look like (pics)
3. How hard of an install is it?

The benefits come at the limits of the fuel system....at the point where your factory fuel system will begin to staff the fuel injectors and begin to run lean.
The larger diameter bore of our fuel rail will supply a larger volume of fuel to each injector. This volume will then be available when the injector needs it at critical times.

Our fuel rail kit features not only a new fuel rail cut form billet aluminum but includes Teflon lined stainless steel fuel line and a factory quick disconnect.
The fuel rail comes preassembled and includes picture instructions.
Here is a picture. No special tools are required. First timer can expect a 30min install.

NICE! question about the s-pipe/j-pipe replacement you're working on: are you planning for it to be 2.5" or 3"? If it helps I'd prefer 3". Thanks, great products so far. I can't wait to see what else you guys have planned!

Incredible looking products.
Resellers are stocking products.
Known name.
Great R&D.
Awesome looking product line.
...and, their website works.

Looking good.

Will your rear bar replacement come with brackets simliar to your STI rear sway bar? That's what the rear bar in this car really needs.

Does anyone else notice how well that exhaust fits? I haven't seen such a tight fitament with a 3" exhaust. Definately the max clearance you could make. I think I made the right choice. We'll see when it gets here:)

Our entire order shipped from Perrin Yesterday! Everything except the sway bar is on its way and will be in stock.

The BOV flange can be tig welded here for you guys if you don't have a reputable tig welder local.
Thanks.

so will the fmic be compatible with an injen intake? i saw the pics of the fmic and it doesn't look like it :(
Sell your injen on ebay. Too much piping. Go with turbohoses or Perrin's intake. Up the spooling ability of your turbo:)
