Hey everyone. I just picked up my 2008 grey mica speed 3 with 6 miles on it. i love it and havent stopped driving in 2 days. im already looking to do some modifications but am wondering which ones will help the most without voiding my warranty. thanks

My New M3 (JPN STYLE)

Hey Everyone,
Well, it made me sick to my stomach at first cause I'm anxiety prone anyway, but I'm getting used to the idea. I drove my CWP GT off the lot on Sunday. wow. got some oomph!

They still owe me wheel locks, which were on the sticker, but not the car. I got the extended warranty (7 year, 100,000 mile) for probably too much $ -$1,600- but like I said, anxiety (nervous).

My first car was a 1967 Triumph GT 6, so I've kind of come full circle. It was sort of 'True Red', and had little US Mags on it. Looked hot! Ran hot, too, not in a good way. And the rear end would get away way too easily.

My last car before this Mazda was a 93 BMW 325i w/minor suspension and CAI/Chip. It gave up the ghost (RIP) a few weeks ago at 207,000 miles. 175,000 of those were mine. What a great car. I still need to sell it. Throwout bearing is bad. sounds like marbles in a can.

Sorry for the long post, but I figure I'd get it all out there and really introduce myself. I'll post a few pics this weekend if I get a shot.

a new clutch doesn't run that much if you install it yourself. Fix the beemer and use it to relieve the mileage on the new car.

MS3 GT Metropolitan Grey

Hey Everyone,

I just picked up my new Metro Grey GT this afternoon. I traded in my 2006 Mini Cooper S. It was a tough decision, but after 90mi or so, I feel it was the right decision. More power, more room, more practical!

Picked it up today, fresh of the truck with 19km's on it. Drove around 550 Km's today, mostly highway, must say I am so impressed, what a great car. I have a list of questions about a few things that I've been wondering about, I will post it soon. Is this a good place to post them?

2008 MS3 GT Metro. Grey Mica- love this car, very quick, traded my 01 Grand Prix GT. Getting around 25mpg in town, only cause people like to drive below the posted speed limit in the passing lane.

Hi just got my ms3 sport 08 today - blue... I am in Webster NY. Mods to start soon. My last car, worth talking about, was a Ford Focus 2000 Dun up nice but HP... thumbs down only around 145 at whees in the end. So this go around I started with hp/ lb-ft monster. Hope to pick alot of your brains.

6 months in on my 08 silver MS3, now rolling 9k miles. Have an Injen CAI, SQVblowoff, full tint all around and a set of Graham lights rims. Looking for stereo codes to get the trip computer though if it works for 08?

Anyone heard of the Tail of the Dragon in Deals Gap Tenessee? There are 318 curves in 11 miles. It is insane. Anyway, heading that way June 6-8 for some serious driving in my 08 ms3. Anyone looking to really drive there MS3 this is the area. There are better than a 1000 miles of roads just like this all over that area that are phenominal!
