Official M3 Release pics

definitely going to be a beast . Wish I could afford one though ... whats with all the new technology they are putting into cars the Cornering Brake Control thing kinda got me thinking a little , GDorris lost his speed3 at the track because his brakes decided not to work do to some kind of safety feature seems kinda counter productive to me . Relying on someone else's computer programming may cost you your life.

i like the brake control..they have it in the 335s and it just sensors when you lift off the gas really fast it will apply the brakes for you alittle..it anticipates it.. it does jerk you alittle but its actually pretty cool..

Too bad they did a hack job on the looks of new M3.... and the fact the majority of those who drive em are real AHole Machines..BMW... the Ultimate AHole Machine....

Dear lord save you on repair costs once the M3 is out of warranty....!!! If the oil pan problems on 335i's and cracked blocks on M5's are any omen I would wait for 2nd year production run....not to mention the 20K markup to be had by the dealers the first few months....

But other than that Yes they are definetly awesome pieces of machinery... the thing OWNS sport sedan - nobody comes close to it... the new M3 is supposed to have a more pliant ride specially for your kidneys... havent read up to see if the suspension has selectable modes...

With each iteration it's a performance benchmark for a 4dr saloon yet gets less and less visually appealing.

M3 hotness = E30.

After owning the previous 3 generations of the M3, I dont think I'll be getting this one. After the E36, theyve become bloated, uninspiring and ugly. Nowadays theyre mostly toys for little rich kids with the one off enthusiast here and there.

The car looks "squashed" to me on the back shot. I wonder if the bulge in the middle of the hood is for function or looks.
