Offical Mazdaspeed6 Acronym?!?!

The list continues... SO many different ways people refer to the mazdaspeed6... Which is the "real" or most accepted one... and why can't everyone stick with it?

Personally... MazdaSpeed6 = MS6...

MSP6 = Mazda Speed Protege 6?!?!?! Huh or Mazda Speed Performance 6??? None of that works...

MZ6 = No idea

Bla Bla Bla... I started this thread.. as... I'm new to mazdas and I know about a good number of the models they make.. however it gets confusing sometimes when people start throwing in so many different terms for the same car... or... the same term... used to talk about different cars...

As far as I know there are 3 different Mazda 6 Models.. the I-4.. the V-6.. and the Speed6...

I say go with MS6. It's 3 characters which is nice, and we all know what it means and won't confuse it with othe rcars (Like the Mazda3 people who love calling their car an "M3").

Someone is going to come in and givfe the official name from Mazda, I can just sense it

I think it is MzMs6 or something weird like that. I don't know why Mazda doesn't just go with MS6, it's not like they would confuse that with their other models.

mzspeed6, longer than antoine's, but i only use that to make sure i dont accidentally type M6 and cause more confusion.

I just call mine a mazda 6 just like i called my mazdaspeed protege a protege. Whenever I tell someone I own a mazdaspeed protege or a mazdaspeed 6 they give me a weird look like, "what the hell is that?" Cuts down on explaining time

MPS6 and MS6 were the only legatamate ones. MPS6 was pre and MS6 is current production.
