I think it's safe to say that most people who bought the "cheap" 2.0 model were strapped for cash or don't care about the "better" top of the line model... well for you broke people, you can still do a CHEAP brake upgrade for your car... you can convert your brakes to the bigger ones used in the 2.3 models... all you need are the caliper brackets and rotors... all the other parts are the same... that means you don't need to buy new calipers or pads

all part numbers are in the faq

aftermarket big brake kits cost money... most people don't need them... but this s*** is cheap and it's good enough!

Compare the brakes on the 2.0l Vs. 2.3l.

Is it worth it considering the relative ease of tge upgarde? What is an estimate for the parts cost?

$102.40 retail for 1 front caliper bracket
$91.85 retail for 1 rear caliper bracket
$95.80 retail for 1 front rotor
$74.60 retail for 1 rear rotor

captain krm p5 can most likely get them for 20-30% cheaper than the retail prices...
you can use rotors of your choice.... it may sound expensive for just all 4 brackets, but you're getting front and REAR brake upgrade... aftermarket BIG brakes cost way into the thousand and usually only upgrade the front!

Anyone done this? Is it for sure I need just the brackets, and anyone know the difference between the 3i rotor size and the 3s rotor size? Thanks
