OBX header

I just came across an OBX header and noticed it has no fitting for the EGR tube that connects the stock exhaust manifold to the intake, Is it OK to remove the pipe and plug the opening in the intake and should I leave the EGR wiring harness connected? Thanks for any help, G.

You can cut the pipe shorter and put a filter on it, as long as the EGR is plugged in there won't be a CEL.
