OBX Header with stock exhaust.. anyone tried?

i had the Magnaflow catback on the car first.

I then picked up an OBX. The OBX header sounded soooo mean with the magnaflow, but, droned terribly on the highway, so, that didn't work with the wife and I

So, i went back to stock and kept on the lookout, and, came across a deal i could not pass on the Ractive, so, i installed that.

Exhaust note is no where near as mean but it didn't drone as bad either

Pro5x2 is right, I just installed obx header, sls midpipe with my magnaflow exhaust and dammm!!! its very loudy, Now I'm wondering if i have to change the muffler , I don't want to go stock.. but the good thing, is the gain of power!!

Did you feel that one performed better than the other or had better build quality? Im not to worried abou the noise levels because Im going to keep my stock exhaust on........on a side note a have a friend trying to convince me to just get some ebay brand headers instead of the obx's. visually they are slightly different but people claim they perform just as well? thank you again!

i don't recall a difference, as i went back to stock inbetween.

As to build quality, they both were top notch. Both fit like a glove. I've read horror stories of the Ractive AND OBX not lining up, rubbing the oil pan

Well I tell you what Pro5x2 I like the sound outside the car, but inside the car i feel like I'm driving a car with one of those cheap exhaust on it, but let's see, I don't have the stock exhaust so I got to keep the maganaflow for now and make some jajaja

i have a obx headers and a magnaflow muffler with stock piping it sounds deep not to loud to get attention but def not a stock sound. Not The best vids but somewhat of an idea

I have looked at the Flea Bay headers and see their are some that claim to be a 4-2-1 and the other are 54 into 1. From the pictures I cannot see any difference. For the money I don't see how the OBX could really be any better. Bend and runner lengths seem to be the same. Just a knock off for less dollars.

Look pretty much the same. My goal is too pick up just a little extra power for passing.
It seems for the money that this header would do the job. What about the O2 sensors? I see there is a place to screw them in but do I still need an eliminator of some sort?

win????? and the obx headers deletes your first cat and it will make your check engine lite go on but you fix that like this
