OBD2 Scanner for DPF?

Hi,

I am looking to buy an OBD2 scanner for my CX-8 diesel specifically to see the DPF details, can anyone recommend one that will definitely work with the CX-8?

I have googled and read reviews and it seems even some scanners that say they work with Mazda don't actualy work with all models.

If I go the bluetooth route what phone app is the best? Again I've read reviews where after app updates it stops syncing or won't support their car anymore.

FORScan seems to be recommended but it seems impossible to get any kind of support or ability to ask a question before buying it though which is unfortunate.

Any advice welcome

Have you tried the FORScan forum?

Also, you could just get a recommended Bluetooth dongle and download the FORScan lite app for 7 bucks and give it a try.

I really like having FORScan for our 2019 cx5 2.2 diesel ... All the data and more at my fingertips .
