NOVA emissions

Does anyone know of a shop where I can get my emissions tested that doesn't care much about things like not having a cat. Trying to get my emissions done without having to replace exhaust system. I don't have my stocker. Any suggestions are appreciated.

You don't have ANY cats or just missing one? I've passed with just one cat on another car. Just got to make sure you go in hot to give the o2 sensors time to read "clean" air and that you aren't throwing any CELs.

all emissions testing is done through a computer so its kind of hard to get around it.

So if there's no sniffer test, technically you pass if there's no CEL?
If you run catless but with the non-fouler and you don't run any CEL, you should pass, right?

OR..... you could fix your car, and put a cat on it... practically no horsepower loss with a high flow cat compared to no cat anyways....

Going off of memory here...

In VA there is supposed to be a visual inspection of the catalytic converter system. So, even if you pass the OBDII readiness test, you can still fail the visual inspection portion of the test. Also, don't certain regions in NoVA require sniffer tests? I know in Hampton Roads there was no sniffer test, but they were supposed to do visuals (passed my old P5 with full CS exhaust).

Visual and OBD-II only here, at least in Alexandria.
