north carolina emission testing???

I am moving to north carolina in 3 months and i need to know if they have emission testing there. If anyone in north carolina or anyone that knows if north carolina has testing. b/c if they do i need to get my 2nd cat put back on.

We do have emmisions testing but it depends on the county where your car is registered. Where exactly are you moving to? We have a kick ass all Mazda club here. Stay in touch.

yea all depens on the county, i think it starts here in 2006, but is already happening in mecklanburg (charlotte). but theres plenty of good ole' boys around here than will look the other way and give you a sticker.

im actually moving to charlotte with my girlfriend and im going to go to central piedmont for a year. we will probably be there in 3 months...

but for our "club" check out the car meets forum, theres a big thread about our meet on the 10th, should be about 25+ cars there.
