LOL, I'm just glad I don't have that problem, I mean with my parents. How old are you ProtegeV? Just do what BlueMP5Dave said. I suggest to pay rent or move out. Do your parents see you as a responsible person. Maybe thats why. Yea I did my damage when I was in my youth but I grew up. I am 24 now and I still live with my mom. Yea it beats the hell out of paying rent but if I could I would move out just to be on my own.

Im 18, cant afford to move out...no reason to either...thing like i mentioned only happend about once or twice a year, and it usually never gets too bad...I just let my parents have their way for a day or two and its all good: free food, clothes, etc etc...just pay for car, insurance, cell phone, and school.

Freedom to modify

So pissed right now.....I was all ready to get tint in the next week and my parents decided "tint isn't necessary for the amount of money it costs." Although it was nice having my parents buy the p5, I hate having it not be my car, and having to get their permission for this stuff, even though I'm the daily driver of the car.....I was going to pay for it too and I explained ti can be removed.....oh well maybe I'll buy some dg interior stuff or something with that money, since it looks like I'll never get to do any engine mods or exterior mods.........

It's not that I mean to poke fun at anyone, but I figured that I should share something. My parents bought my pro5 and I have had "Free Reign" to modify anything...it's kinda nice (ok...it's nice to live a lie - if my parents actually bought my car....i would be 12,000 dollars less in the hole). Consider yourself lucky - besides....that new car feeling hopefully will wear off in a while and your parents won't care what you do to it considering that it's tasteful (i hope your not mexican and decide to take that nice blue pro5 and put 2" wheel spacers on it with 13" wheels). Basically - watch all the car shows and see what pro5 out there that is uglier than yours that win's trophies and say "OH YEAH...THAT COULD HAVE BEEN ME!!! THANKS MOM AND DAD!"

Mom & Dad will be a lot more pissed off when you bring some modded up chick home & have them raising their grandchildren because you "can't afford" to go out & make your own living, have your own pad, make your own rules, buy your own s***, & mod whatever you want whenever you want. If they're paying your way through life don't cry-deal with it. If you don't like their rules grow some balls & go out make your own way.

my ex wife said that i had to wait 2 yrs before i could do anything to my p5.
so i told her f-off and divorced her, moved back to my parents then started to mod it.. did alot of stuff then ended up selling most not too long ago within the 2yrs ive had it.. now i only have hids, intake, exhaust and springs..
