I have an 07 and I wanna have the wobbly rear mm replaced under warranty. Can you call the mazda dealership and set up an appt to do this? Does it cost money to have them put it up on the lift/check it out? Or do you have to pay a base fee for an appt. or man hours or work on the car?

If anybody has gone in an had it replaced, your experience would be appreciated.

Thanks!

This is a recall and should have been done already. If it hasnt then yes, call your dealer and make an appointment. It should cost you anything to get it done. Alternatively, you could just get an aftermarket one that would be even stronger.

As go fast stated it is best just to buy an aftermarket rear mm. You will feel difference in shifting as well as having a peace of mind that it won't fail. Upgrading the rear mm is one of the first main mods you should do to your car.
