Ok.. so i have been checking out the threads and noticed that a few people have their car description as 2002.5 or what ever year it is...

Whats the .5 about? Made half way through the year??????

mid-year review/change.

For example between 02 and 02.5 the automatic transmission went from the standard to sport-tronic (can go into manual mode)

Manuals had stronger shift forks put in.

Other changes as well but not sure.

well how can you be sure if it's and 02 or and 02.5..when I got mine from the crappy dealership it was just listed as an 02, is there anyway I can tell?

^^^yup. there's a thread taht pretty much explains the differences between all half year models. my 02.5 got the new cupholders, new wheels, side markers, tweeters on the door pillar, shift knob. what else...

lol i forgot about the most obvious thing! The wheels! What about the roof rack?

roof rack delete is 03.5, i think. and they also got the spare tire sub, too.

yes. I now have the white ones because I replaced my 02.5 cluster :'(

Last I checked the 2002.5 got ALL the changes that came to the 03, except that I know leather was optional in 03 but I don't think it was available in 02.5. I'm glad, because I don't feel like sitting on the skin of a slaughtered animal

oh oh, now I'm confused, I don't have all of that stuff but I do have a few things, the shift knob I believe because at first I didn't think it was stock because no other 02p5 I seen had it, they had one's that were shaped like a snake head covered with vinyl or leather....and I may have the new cupholders, not sure.

where's the thread that was mentioned for this? I would really like to read it!

the new cupholders do not have a cover. the old ones did.

You're not missing anything if you don't have the sub on the spare tire. I'll be removing mine shortly.

I personally like the sub. Though it does raise the floor an inch or two allowing for less space. And I know that some people prefer to throw in their own subs. I prefer not to mess with any wiring, so I like it stock.
