No brainer?? Plugs?

O.K. guys, this is probably a really dumb question, but oh well. How do you replace the spark plugs on an MP3, are they under the black cover on the engine? I'm assuming this is a simple task, so please help me save some money and do it myself!!!

Yeah, they are under the Black cover. Remove the 4 nuts holding down the cover, and you will see the top of the valve cover. There will be 4 places where the spark plug wires go down into the valve cover. Pop those out, and you will be able to see down to each spark plug terminal. You will need a socket wrench, an extention, and a believe a 5/8 in spark plug socket attachment. The rest is self exclamitory.

Make sure when you put the new ones in you don't over tighten them. and don't force them in, turn gently. You don't want to damage the threads in the block. Just hand tighten and then maybe less then a quarter of a turn. Oh wait, I have the tourque specs. It's 14 ft/lbs. if you use an anti-seize compond on them or 17 ft/lbs with out them. I got this info from another forum so I can't vouch for it. I've only got about 3000m so I haven't gotten to change the plugs yet.
