That's a bummer that you can't make it. I still haven't heard anything else about that show, so I don't know what's up with it. I didn't get a chance to make it out to the albuquerque show, but one of my friends did and told me about that protege. Lol, he thought it was mine from a distance. Thanks a lot for the kind words about the car, it's always nice to meet people that can appreciate the stuff that's in there because they own one. I want to see your's, hopefully soon.

Bryan's P5 is pretty cool. I didn't look under the hood though. I caught him coming out of McDonald's... we've got to dump these chance meetings and start getting together for real.. lol

Bad news everyone....

I traded in my Protege5. (nervous) I had to get my payment down. I own a house, have a little girl, college loans, etc.
I really miss it, but..............look what I got instead....

It doesn't have all of the little things that my P5 had, but it's another project car. First thing is first though. Before I put bigger wheels on it or any engine mods, I'm getting a turbo. I found a non intercooled kit for 1999 and the stage 2 kit is 2799. It would put me well over 200 whp supposedly.

Rich, how did your computer turn out. Have you got it tuned?

I'm happy with the new car. It will take a while before I get it modded to how I want it, but it's going to be just as fun. My wife made fun of me because it looks like an Evo used in the Fast and the Furious. hehehe

I wish it was an Evo....

Haha, cool man. Look out for one of those in LA that has blue front grills, blue body kit, 1 blue side view mirror (that's right, just one of them), blue aluminum bleacher spoiler, and I believe the wheels are also blue.(puke) The car is yellow just like your's.

The MPI tuner is doing great, it feels much smoother now after some tuning, and I am going back to the dyno this week to see what it has done to the power. Let me know when you get your turbo, I'll line up with ya down at the track or something.

That is the tackiest blue I have seen.
I painted my wheels graphite and my calipers yellow....again....like I did on my P5.
Last night I went to the home depot and got some wire mesh for the grill. It turned out pretty nice actually. I'll take some pics and post them.

I want to lower the car, put a new front bumper....

I'm in doubt about going to bigger wheels. Mine are only 15"s, but I kind of like'em. hmmmmm
