This is for the serious people who want to know about nitrous.Ive been racing cars for a long time. My dad drag raced nitrous feed elimanator cars for 20 years. So you could say its in my blood. From my own experiences ive found nitrous the cheapest and the best way to race. Sure there are many pro"s and con"s about it.Theres alot of options out there like turbo's . And ive only seen one mp3 whith a turbo. Then theres superchargers but when will there be one available.Right now im running nitrous on my mp3 KIT #05115 DRY MANIFOLD KIT. Ok its a mustang kit but they sell it as an import kit.So far its seemed to run good no problems. Im also running a nos fuel pressure regulater at 45psi.My best time at the track so far is 14.3 @93.9 mph.I think thats prety good for stock. And on 17's.Oh ya I forgot the cone filter. One more thing before I go alway's you's 2 step colder plugs.

What kinda shot are you running? Hell with times like those you can say that you're unofficially the fastest MP3 in the country.

Im runing only a 50 shot with drag radial's.And the plugs gapped at 35.That way the NOS doesn't blow out the spark. The only thing im worried about is I cant retard the ignition because it's a distrbutless motor. But I have a way to deal with that problem.MSD makes a multi-step retard box.The way it works is it let's you run the ignition full advance or stock timing but when you spray it retards the ignition 1-3 degrees. That way you dont lean out the motor and go boooooom! But i will tell you I give a lot of si's a run for there money whitch i usually take! :D

I payed $475.00 for the kit but if you shop around you could find it cheaper. As for the install im a import mechanic I did it myself. It took about 4 hours cause I wanted it to look clean. I have alot more to say on this but im late for work later.By the way is there a MP3 chat room. :D

That's a good idea. We should ask Enry about trying to set up a chat room on the site. I think that would be pretty cool. If you're out there Enry, what do ya think?

@jayrcr

do you live in houston or somewhere else in TX?
(I know there is another MP3 in Kingwood that has NOS) I live in Kingwood, would you be interested in installin NOS into m car?
Thanks

I live about 30 minutes from houston.I work in south houston at a dealership maybe you guy's have heard of it . David Mc david HONDA.Whoop's I said a dirty word.Ive got a problem maybe you guy's could help.I had a little accident in san antonio 4 weeks ago. There still waiting on parts.Thats the problem it wasn't alot of damage. But there still waiting on the fender. Will a MP5 fender fit?

hi, as a matter of fact i now that dealership...it's at I45, isn't it?
how much would you want to install a poor college student some NOS in his "baby"?
Thanks

I usually charge $150.00 for import's and $250.00 for V-8's.BUT for a fellow MP3 racer ill charge half that price but you will have to help. That's the only way to learn how to work on your own car.If you drive by one day don't look for the MP3 my baby still in shop they told me yesterday that mazda factory has to stamp a new fender for my car. That's crazy huh.So for now i drive my trans am that doesn't corner very well. But it does the 1\4 mile in 12.75's at 115.0 mph. :D

Finally, some answere!! This is what I have been waiting for. I was gonna wait for a turbo, or supercharger, but if this works, it will be alot cheaper, and sooner. Thanks! :D

Dude sorry to here it.I hope your still in one piece.I hit a curb in San Antonio 5 week's ago.I might get it back this week.I had a little fender damage and the mazda factory had to stamp a new fender and form a new side skirt.

Well im not saying that your's will take that long. When they ordered my shock from tokico it only took 3 day's and the racing beat front sway bar 4 day's. But yes the mazda part's took awhile. But let's hope when they got my order they made more part's.Keep me informed.I took mine to protech collision in clear lake on bay area blvd. The damm car is still there due to the availabilty of part's.But everything is there so I should get it back this week.

It may be obvious to some out there, but how will the NOS affect the warranty? Does it void automatically, or do they still have to prove that NOS phucked up the engine?

Yes it is obvious that NOS will mess up a warranty but the only way is to not get caught using it. That's why you make the system easy enough to uninstall in about 20 minutes but yet it's still a clean install job. You install it so that when you take it off, no one can tell what happened except you. This is coming from an experienced import mechanic of eleven years. :D

I need help installing my N2O? I have a local perfomacne shop here but I am not sure about their quality. Can you give a brief desciption of how you did your install? Like how to take it out in 20min. with no witness marks? It would be greatly appreciated.
:D
