ninja upgrades help

so i have my 02 protege LX that id love to mod......one problem.....my dad bought the car and wont let me do anything major to it(protest). im at college right now so i was wondering what upgrades you guys would recommend that i could do to increase performance that arent too noticable, and also not too expensive. im not doing a CAI as of now, so i was thinking maybe a lightweight flywheel and the jspec camshaft from corksport, or maybe a lightweight pulley upgrade. any good suggestions?

Those would be good hard to visually notice mods yet they'd add noticeable improvement.

But frankly, I think your dad is right. I'm guessing that if he bought you the car then he is also most likely paying for your college. If he ever did catch on that you're spending (blowing) money on mods to your car, he might get pissed. Spend the money on beer instead.
