if you guys meet up in mid to late dec. im game! i dont know how my paradas would fair up there but i think im going up the east coast in the winter anyways just to **** around and see snow... who knows maybe a sexy party. ill prob go skiing for a day in VT if i make it that far. I know my uncle lives on some nice back roads up in NH and my other one lives Rutland, VT and theres quite a few twisty roads up there but it does get rather snowy so who knows. Just some places i may stop along the way.

Snow + Summer Tires = Bad Idea

I put my Potenza's on a lil early this spring and had to get my girlfriend to come pick me up because we got 1/4" of snow and I was unable to get up a slight incline. If there is any snow at all during your trip, you will be parked until it is cleared. I would recommend a different tire, a different car, a different time, or a really flexible schedule.

Might bring a burban but then i doubt ill make a meet because theyll be 4 other people totally uninterested in cars. Plus i prefer to just go out on my own... well see its some time away worst comes to worst i make it as far as NC...

depends on the weather i guess, think summer tires will cut it? haha and also depends on my exam schedule and whoever is riding with me. I plan on traveling around a lil bit but i never set a schedule so i just flow with it. 23rds when id be home for xmas and what not.

summer tire will NOT cut it up here..I hate to be a downer, but you will get yourself into an accident guaranteed. Once it starts snowing and freezing up here..The weather changes fast so there is no guarantees on a sunny day, even if the roads are clear.

yea i know im already looking into options. Im not buying winter tires for a week trip ya know? might have to bring the POS jetta really dont care if that wrecks... hah god volkwagons are such crap. who knows but i do plan on being up there.

Ive said thsi about 1000 times our cars BLOW in the snow the stock "all seasons" are crap so i coutnlt imagine summer tires >.< couldnt tell ya how many trees or poles ive almost hit in the snow with that damn car of mine oh well

i love snow.....put my snow tires on sat morning. did not drive my car friday due to how bad dunlops are and the roads in central MA were slick. my fathers car had trouble with traction control and ABS. was like a skating rink.....now i have my snows, so i can get through anything.....
