Nexen/Lexani N3000 Tires Review

I just bought a set of Lexani N3000 tires for the MS6. They are actually made by and are identical to the Nexen N3000 tire. Decent grip in the dry and they are moderate in the wet. I'm actually surprised how well they perform. They are quiet compared to stock Bridgestones and definately better than the pricier Kumho Ecsta SPT I had before these. Only paid about 50.00 each for 225/40/18!

I had a set of those back in '04-'05... Sorry to say, but never again. WAY too hard, and still somehow wore out WAY too fast, bad traction in both wet and dry. I learned my lesson on buying cheap discount throw away tires after that, and spent some good money on BFG's. Best tires I've ever owned.

They still perform like a charm and no excessive wear despite my long work commute. When you get the Nexen or Lexani N3000 make sure you get the ones with a load/speed rating of Y. They make these identical tires in a harder W rated compound. The W rated ones will last longer but are not the best for agressive driving.
