sorry if this is a repost
i was reading an older issue of C&D, and read that mazda will be offering a new version of the rx-8 with an electronically assisted turbo (instead of a solely exhaust driven one). they say that it's to meet rising emissions restrictions.
but doesn't that also just sound really, really...(i'm trying to find the right word here)
...stupid ?
i mean, it's nice that it will be receiving a power boost, but it seems like it's not gonna be very mazda-like (sporty instead of high-tech).
damn, i can't remember what else i wanted to type, but yeah, i'm just kinda confused by the direction mazda will be taking with this...i guess i'll just have to hope that the rx-7 will be a helluva lot better or the mazdaspeed6 will also be good..
