Newby!

Hi Don 👋 what part of the country // world do you call home? Any pics of the new (to you) ride?

Well..I live in Holland in a small town near Rotterdam.

Bought the Mazda about a year ago and I find the car very satisfying.

Only thing is that I have to change the brakepads and discs. I also have a question about this procedure but that's for another topic I guess.

Nice looking setup Don. That camping trailer looks just the right size for the cx5.

Brakes are easy enough to do. IIRC, the 2015 still has the manual parking brake with the big pull up handle. But if yours has the electronic parking brake make sure you learn about "maintenance mode" BEFORE you work on it. 😁

There are several links on the forum for complete shop manuals.

Yes I happened to have the version with the electronic parking brake. I read about the maintenance mode an watched some youtube videos about it.
The only thing that is not clear for me is to push back the pistons in the rear calipers. Do I have to turn it clockwise right side and left side as well?

Do not turn the piston at all, just push it straight in (just enough to fit the new pad). Just make sure the notch in the piston lines up with the little protrusion on the pad. Notch should be straight up and down.
