hey guys, just wanted to say hi..

first time i have ever been here and i am doing research for the m3 i or s 4-door for my gf.. she is in need of a new car and im looking for something reliable and not to killer on the pocketbook + insurance.. neither of us thought about the car until yesterday i told her lets go see what the honda dealer has.. they had a m3i on the used lot so we test drove it.. she fell in love with the car but i think they were asking to much (17.9k for 5k miles and it looked like a fleet/demo car to me) + i haven't done n e type of research on the car.

i currently own a 88 GT 5.0 fully built and also a '06 cobalt ss/sc (supercharged version) ...

so far from what i have seen the forum has been helpful but ill continue digging..

Holy crap, $17.9k on a Mz3i? WTF!!!!!!? My 3s with moonroof/6CD, ABS/SAB/SAC was only $18.5k. Basically she can get a new one with a full warranty that's never been driven by anyone else for about the same price.

If they don't come down on that price I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Or even a six foot sweed. :lol:

I bought my wife a MZ3i, thats the base sedan, for 14695-300 for AAA discount with 9728 miles from HERTZ car sales. I know it was a rental car , but she only drives like 5000 miles a year so i was cool with that. GIve them a try. 17 for a MZ3i is quite high. Run it thru edmunds and you get a good idea of what prices whould be near. Its a great car, give it some serious though.

yea. i laughed at the price and finally they said they would mark to 15.9 and it would end up at 17.4k out the door but i still said no.. i love fuggin with dealers.. lol
i have no knowledge the car so i wanted to research it first so thats why i joined here.. figured id find lots of useful info.
