What do you guys think about these wheels?

I think they would lookd good but never heard of them. Definitely the right price as well.
They should fit alright; but i am wondering if it would work with TPMS.
Anyone?

Eh. Not a big fan. It seems everyone is buying those cheap, RC-style wheels these days. They look like crap, IMO.

Any wheel will work with TPMS as long as the modules are installed.

hmmm they look cheap?
fair enough, would you mind helping out and posting a few of your choices?
I am not sure i understand what you mean though, RC-style? Are you referring to the design of the wheel itself or the deep dish lip or what?

most wheels say tpms compatable or not as some are not.... i like the wheel style... go nice with your new car.. what happened to your old wheels.

Yes, referring to the mesh design. There are so many like it made by just about every wheel manufacturer now. Just way over-played to me. I see them alllll over, especially on crappy riced out cars.

I like OZ wheels or maybe someone sporting Gram Lights or BBS.

Derek i still have my other wheels; but they have a yellow accent and i dont think they would look very god on my new car.
what do you think?

dcomiskey, its funny youmention the overplayed part; i was actually trying to move away from the overplayed styles; meaning the 4/5/6 spoke wheels. I think those are overplayed; everyone has 5 spoke rims nowadays and i was trying to move away from that... to each its own i guess but thanks for contributing...
Also, i do like the wheels you suggested; however they are cost prohibitive. I dont feel like spending 400 per wheel. Just not my style.

Personally, I think they're too busy.
I agree on the Sportmax rims, they are awfully nice. As for pricing, Google is your friend ;)

In my own quest for new shoes, I've taken a liking to these:

Sportmax 961

Zyoxx ZX8

Devino DV611P

Right now I'm leaning heavily toward the 961's--I like the idea of having color-matched trim. The fact that I like the "split-5" and "double-5" designs should be pretty obvious.
The fun part will be sizing (tire & rim) so I don't break the bank and scuff up the rims (225 would be a good idea....?). Kumho ECSTA AST's seem most likely...

the ones i have are the hp racing wheels 18x8 look just like the ones you picked and i have the tpms in them...

hey major error; i do like the 5 spoke wheels; i just feel they areoverplayed and i already have a set of those in black.

I do like your choices; my favorite would have to be the 3rd one but in hyperblack; and i wish it had more of a lip.
Do not like the 2nd one, too square.

silla, i had not noticed your wheels do look a lot like it and i think i like them; not 100% sold on them yet though.
I am going to keep looking around.

If I were to consider the style you're looking at for my car, I'd probably get this:
m_sport_black_large.jpg

Not quite as "spokey" :) A "splayed-7" instead of a "splayed-10"
In the end, the only one that really has to be happy with it is you ;)

Go Big Or Go Home!

All those wheel loof great and anything you put on the MS3 will separate you from the masses. I liked the ACE alloys that ZoomVT posted the most. Remember, you can pretty much cancel out anything will a really deep polished lip due tho the MS3 having a very high offset. Especially if you plan on going up in wheel diameter. 18' and a mild 1-1.5 inch drop will work wonders for the appearance and probably improve the handling a bit.

Buy wheels based on your budget, but if your budget is low and everything you want....I mean really, really want, is more expensive then save, save, save. Do go cheap like most people do. With my taste, I'd expext to spend about $1500-$1800 on an impressive set of wheels and tires. 18's of course. But I'm a "contrary to public opinion" type of guy, so I'd say save your pennies and dollars and wait. Go big or go home..

im not thinking of going extremely cheap; but i am not going to spend a lot of money on them because i wont keep the car for that long either; gotta find the right balance.
