new wheels?

To get back on topic, not a fan of the wheels in the first photo. Not crazy about all the rivets. Why can't the wheel makers just paint them black like the rest of the wheel? My .02

Thanks. I am kinda proud. A lot of time is spent earning the money i have to shell out for this thing... So yeah i really did see a car today in Boise that looks kinda like yours. Is that thing quick? I know nothing about the protgs, I guess I could just read about them but I am kinda liking the love in your last post, I wana keep that going.

Im there with you, I drop what I can into her. I mostly go for parts that make her a bit quicker.

Shes pretty quick, but I need to be quicker so cams and cam gears are next to go in with a cut and painted valve cover.

nothing yet

whatever i get, they have to be basically the same size so i don't have to spend even more for tires - just got 2 new ones replaced under road hazard warranty

and other than that, my $ needs to go to making more power, and getting that power through the atx

which means an F2 intake (anyone wanna buy my aem?), a rx8 maf, and a "thingy" to go between the maf and the ecu (on the mazda3forums.com site), and then when it becomes available, a full block-to-bumper exhaust from draxxas ('05 won't fit '06 with pzev, which apparently i have)

then, i need to dump 1500 into an lsd, and upgrade the torq. conv. and valve bodies - that's another G

by that time, a better intake mani should be put on

THEN i can think about wheels again (ughdance)

i was asking about the set on the 1st post, cuz it looked like a really good deal and i could have put plans back a bit by getting them now
but since i won't, off we go with the plan as it was
