I got to say that you made a Huge improvement on them simply by making them bigger, still lacks depth but MUCH Better.

Wow... I didn't realize you were going to cry. Chrome stands out a little at least, and it doesn't look dirty (unless the owner can't clean them, besides who says the rims have to be colored? This wasn't an attack at you, so please get a tissue, regroup, and return to this thread with a little more composure. BTW, the black five door is looking a little better now.

I like the idea but the spokes are too crazy for me. Simple strait spokes are better, looks classy. I have the Motegi FF-7 Gloss black on my white hatch. Not exactly what I wanted but the price was right and this style looks good with the 5% tint, if you are into that sort of thing. Don't get the all black ones. They are sweet standing still but when you are moving they look like you havent taken off you winter tires yet. I dont like yours Rac3rX, I would have gone with gunmetal or something. Black wheels just dont fly on anything besides black or white. All thats important is that you like them, the damn sales guy at the Mazda Speed dealer told me flat out that he hated mine this weekend. I didnt even ask his opinion. Haha, I didnt take his card for when the Mazda3 MPS arrives either, haha.

And of course, the few trying to give me a tast of my own medicin because I crapped on a set of UGLY rims. Hats off to you, out of pitty.

Im glad that a few dont like My rims, it creates ballance. Its Just pretty FUNNY the reason you dont like them (As you say) Is actually Bogus as they arnt that color at all and are even the color you sugest would go with the car, aint that something!

You know what? You are right! I was completely off. After looking at that pic of your car again, I realized those are in fact gunmetal rims and I was wrong about the color. OOPSCongratulations on the near celebrity status driving you car has awarded you. Obviously you are veryveryvery proud. Im just glad those rims are on your car and not mine. Thanks for your supportive comments and valued opinions.

Naw I like em, but its hard to find a nice clean set that go so well with the car, & dont look like you had your head in a Rap song when you bought them.

I agree that most chrome rims suck because they are heavy and poorly done. Watch out for all the top companies making chrome looking rims that are light weight. Mine are actually lighter than stock even though they are 18's.

i have a wheel gap problem just like many 2nd geners do when they add bigger wheels. Out of the forum I need the drop the most but I am not going to because my kit sits low already and I need a minimum 2" drop and I will still have space. So it is not worth it to me. And yes I have chrome unfortunately chrome doesn't like Chicago winters. Black/chrome/powdercoat everything is played out because everyone copies one another. The trick is trying to be unique and grabbing a set of new wheels before others follow the trend and before you know it everyone has them anyways. It is what goes good with your car, its style, and it paint scheme. Simple as that.

P.S. RacerX I am only allowed to give s*** to Jose. I didn't see anything wrong with what he said. Jose is very mellow so relax bro and like mp3architect said leave the thread because your s*** is boring now. You have nothing further to add to this thread and everthing you have added is garbage.

#1 the original wheels were to small they looked like 16's or something not a bad design in a bigger wheel as seen in the photochop.

Back to the subject of the first car, the real reason we are here, I am not a big fan of all black wheels but lately I have been looking at some for my car. I think they look good on a white car. I do agree with the statement made that they look good sitting still, not when driving. Nice design though, I like straighter spokes myself but those do look good.

The thing I don't like about your's rac3rx, They remind me of a set of old whitewalls on some of the older cars that have been rebuilt. Also some cops have dark wheels and the ring on the outside of their crown victorias. Just not a fan of that style. I do like your signature pic though, looks good. Just below that though it says "controle your zoom". Just wondering what that means, that a different language? Just curious.
