new wheels...kinda, thanks ebay. :(

thanks olestra

Iwas going to offer to buy two from you till the rashed, curbed issue came up. I really like works wheels. I think you should shoot him also

if only he wasnt all the way in cali. the two gunmetal wheels arent that bad...if anyone is really interested i can get some better pics and let em go for cheap depending on how this paypal thing works out

that sucks man..

i can't see the pics since they're blocked through my work computer. photobucket isn't work friendly.... bleh.

good luck with the whole thing... you know, i'll be back home in cali soon, hehe, i can knock the guy upside the head and tell him, you knuckel head! what's your problem?

those wheels are so sweet, sand 'em down good and find a local guy who will do a good job powdercoating them, or do it yourself! the color will match and the rash will be cured. that really sucks though, best of luck!

Kooldino on here hes own speedcircuit.net he can powder coat wheels and will do a good job on it

If you opened a paypal dispute (significantly not as described), just let it run its course and get your money back. Then I would say spend that money on getting them fixed, powdercoated, or painted whatever you do.

Paypal only gives you back like $200.00 back. I bought some tokico illuminas.. got the shaft. Filed paypal won.. and was only refunded back $200. I lost $150 bucks!

seriously as mentioned earlier, putting 2 bronze on the left side and 2 gunmetal on the right would be fine, they dont look too big of a difference on them. You're the driver and you get in on the driver side so you can see the nicer bronze set more :)

But thats ******, the ebayer should resend the correct wheels.... it means some other guy will get the other 2 by accident as well.

the seller knowingly sent me mismatched wheels. they were used and pretty beat up (which he never mentioned) so i'd be surprised if he had multiple sets. and his reply to paypal was that he sells everything "as is with no warranty implied" even though he specifically says in the auction that he was selling four bronze wheels.

as of right now theyre just sitting in the garage still while i wait for paypal to finish the dispute and i spose i'll decide what to do with them after that. thanks for all the input guys.

anyways here's a teaser pic

that's bulls***...i didn't read everything here, but why are you having a hard time proving your case?
if the auction says 4 bronze wheels, and they're not 4 bronze wheels, what is the problem?
it's clearly an incorrect auction and either ebay or paypal should handle this.

with that being said, ebay and paypal both SUCK

If you paid with a CC I would call them up dispute it.

does anyone have any experience with credit card charge backs? if i went this route would i still have to send him back the wheels? and how likely would it be that the CC company would refund me?

yah its horrendous service. there doesnt seem to be a way to do anything about this through ebay, they just send me to paypal...and paypal takes forever...i don't see how they won't find in my favor, it's just an unfortunately long process.

yeah. ebay probably would just push you to paypal. same company, so it doesn't matter.
but seriously, **** the both of them

wanna know how ot make it work friendly?

Tools...Internet options...

Connections Tab...click on Lan settings...

Take the check mark out of the box that says automatically detect settings hit apply...usually any and all blocked sites are now unavailable...unless they REALLY don't want you to see...

Sorry for the thread jack

damn bro u got ebayfukd dat sucks! thats y im careful with ebay! i just ordered a subwoofer i hope i dnt get fuked over!
well good luck with your wheels i'd say you should paint them all the same color!

I am a manager at a major retailer, so I have very frequent experience with credit card disputes. Here is the basic procedure:
1) You call the company of the credit card you used for the purchase, and talk to their dispute department.
2) You give them all the facts behind the dispute (plead your case), and explain to them why you should not be charged.
3) They will then contact the company/individual who took payment and ask for a couple of things such as their account of what happened, and often times a signature that shows that you accepted the charges.
4) Finally a decision will be made by the CC Vendor as to whether the charges will be reversed.
Now seeing as you are going through paypal obviously there is no way for you to sign to consent charges, so I am unsure as to exactly how they will go about that part of the proceedings.
Best of luck to you bro, and by the looks of it I would say you have a pretty solid case, but time is of the essence. Get on it!
