what tire specs can i run to reduce the gap between the fender? would it look awkward if you run a really fat tire?

I would lower the car before I went with a fatter tire. Just me though.

look at the first pic. the rims/tires look good. the next pic the rear is a bit closer and the tires seem to be out of proportion, but the gap looks fine. and in the 3rd pid upon further inspection it looks like you have 165 tires on a 8 inch rim. they are way to narrow for those 8" rims, so the rim sticks out more than the tire. get wider tires
what size tires do you have?
did you keep stock size tires and put them on 8" rim?

Looks like the tires are 225/40's. If anything, go 235/40 I guess.

I think it looks nice!...yeah you could have went with a lower E.T but then your tire choice would have been limited. Keep the set up simple and problem free! like it is now. Do those wheels hold water in the inner barrels? I had a set of DTM Kruez wheels that did that and i hated it when it rained.

Those are clean, classy wheels.

The blue lugs are more of a distraction to my eye than the tire size or the gap, neither of which looks bad IMO.
