**New wheels AND drop :)!! Before and afters!!**

Well I got the drop on the car last night, took about 2hrs 30min for all for springs (first time installing springs on a car). After I got the first front spring done and knew exactly what to do the install was smooth as can be. Well anyways enough talking ON WITH THE PICS!!!

The springs will probably settle a little lower but I am very happy with the stance. I would have went out and put some effort into the photos but I wanted to use the same shots for all the pics to get an accurate perception of everything. I know someone is going to say "tint that b****" and the itch to tint the car is there but I have had tint on all of my pervious cars and it has been nothing but problems from law enforcement (it is illegal afterall (rofl2)) Well anyways, let me know what you think! Comments and suggestions are always welcome!

Looks super nice, I was thinking about getting some springs as well, but here about 2 hours north of you there is only two seasons Winter and Road Construction. The potholes are unbearable as is.
Wait for the tint law to be in effect I think it can be 35% in back and 50% in front.
Legal tint in IL right now is any % in the backs and nothing in the front. I would wait but I'm not sure if they will make you change it after the law passes.

I will be waiting a bit to see what the state does, I understand why the tint is illegal so it really doesn't bother me all that much. However, tint just looks sexy! As for road constrution I totally understand, I do quite a bit of driving and thankfully I don't take the mazda out when I head to far north because now it would be hell. i wasn't too stoked on these wheels when you first posted the teaser thread on them a few days ago but, now, im liking them on the car a lot. they look good man good job!

I really like those rims, are they 18x7.5 +48? I was wanting some 8's, but the offset is +42 on those. Not sure if there would be rubbing with that offset...

Anyway, I keep wanting new rims and right now it's between these and a set of RX8's.

Yep they are 18x7.5 with a 48 offset. I may pic up some spacers to make them a bit more flush but for now I am happy with the way they look!

Sorry LOL WUT. I ended up getting the same wheels for my car so now we have twins! Mine isn't lowered though.

I ended up getting a great deal on them from the ************ for only $370 and got my tires and TPMS swapped over for $50. So $420 total was a pretty good price even though you can get them pretty cheap from Discounttires.

I'll throw up a couple pics tomorrow, but I have a feeling you already know what it looks like.
