2013 CX-5 GT
Since this is my first post I'd better make it good. :)

Just bought a 2013 CX-5 Grand Touring a few weeks ago and so far it's all good. Needed something with good mileage for my boring highway commute, plus decent space for hauling stuff, and it hit all the right buttons. Pretty much every review and comparison put it on top of the competition so it wasn't a tough choice... after a test drive to make sure the relatively low power wasn't an issue (it wasn't), that was that. Getting a good deal since the '14s are out certainly didn't hurt.

My only complaint is that the audio system seems to love putting iPod songs on repeat (any idea what the heck is going on there?) but not all the time. Also it really needs a proximity key unlock system; the hardware's already there for the push button start so it's a weird omission. Still, not a big deal. Rear visibility is grim but the backup camera and blind spot warning system help somewhat.

Bottom line is that it has that "flingability" you'd expect to find in a much smaller car and is fun to drive for what it is. Granted, coming from a Honda Odyssey (which was like driving a school bus) would make anything feel fun in comparison, but still.

No pics yet but it's your standard black on black; looking forward to hanging around here and seeing what's up.

Congrats on the car. I just picked up my '14 on Saturday and I'm loving it! (2thumbs)

The proximity key only comes on the CX-5 if you get the Tech package (along with some other goodies).
