New To The Forums: My Mazda3

What's up everyone, my name is Keith and I just purchased my 2012 Mazda 3 Hatch a couple week ago and have been very happy with my purchase. It is the i Touring with SkyActive. I sprang for the 6 speed manual transmission to keep as much "Zoom Zoom" as possible. I have already had the windows tinted, because I believe this is one of the best modifications you can do to any car. Here are some pics of my 3.

I have a small list of things I would like to add to the 3, such as the Weathertech floormats, a HID kit, and some wheels. What do you all think about these wheels:

Lastly, I would love to add the Speed hood, but from what I am reading, is not direct bolt on which basically a deal breaker for me. Can anyone confirm?

First of all, welcome! (2thumbs) And congrats on the new car purchase.

You are correct about the Speed3 hood. There have been a couple people that have done it and even more that have asked about it. If you do a search you'll get quite a bit of reading, both here and on other forums.

I agree with you about the window tint. The very first thing I did when I got my car was take it to get windows tinted and a clear bra put on.

What wheels are those? (Brand, model, size, offset, etc) I think it's hard to judge from computer generated photos like that one but I like gold on white a lot.

How much did it cost you for the clear bra? I have been contemplating it but have heard that it's in the ballpark of $700.

The wheels are Sparco Assetto Garas. 17x7.5 with a 45mm offset. I am a fan of chrome/polished lips but I just don't think they look good on the 3s.

Nice car! I think those wheels would look awesome on it too. I have 16" Sparco Assetto Garas and love them.
