Hey everyone,
It's great that there's a forum for just about everything on the web, and it's also cool that most car dudes will help out.
I've got a 2002 that's mostly stock with an Auto trans. I bought it without driving it cause I'm kind of a wagon freak. Turned out to be great. It handles great and runs strong. I was very happy with the purchase.
From there, it gets complicated. First off, my heart is with old cars and hot rods. I have a 63 Falcon wagon project I'm doing and a 1927 roadster that's a fair weather cruiser. You guys will appreciate that my roadster's got a strong running NA 4 banger from a Mustang (ah crap, it's a Pinto motor!!) instead of the big V8's you normally find. Here's my rides: http://www.MyRideisMe.com/Garage/pikesan That's my website, so I don't take a look if you want. It's mostly hot rods and older cars now, but will have more rides as I find people that want to write about those cars. (Not trying to self promote here, so admins, please delete if you don't approved.(hippy))
The second problem is that I'm a powertrain performance engineer for Nissan. I have the MP5 to commute to work. It's 70 miles a day, so the 30+ mpg I'm getting is great!! But I often feel badly that I drive a Mazda. I dig the car, dig most wagons, and really, Nissan doesn't make any...
But, I want to make the car cooler! Look better, perform better... so on and so on, like most of you!
I'm at a crossroads... Keep my Mazda and start modding: new wheels (as soon as I need tires), lowering kit, header or maybe, turbo!!
What do you guys think? Or am I asking the wrong crowd? Thinking of looking for a trade for a 240SX.
Thanks again for a great site. I've already found the "flickering speed 2" with AC on post. Got that!! I'll be fixing it soon.
