New to forum - STi owner with questions about MS3

If you can afford 40k for an STi, do that for sure! I opted for the MS3 because it was almost half of what a new STi costs.

I can't afford an STi right now but if they aren't making the MS3 when I've gotten rid of everything I need to sell before I can get a car, then I won't have the MS3 as an option. And I really really want a quick 4-cylinder turbo hatch if I can help it. Awfully short sighted to offer such a short run... Any idea how long before it'd be offered again?

probably be a while, since the mazdaspeed editions usually are on the last couple of years of production before a new model is released. Next they will release a redesign of the three, and then based on teh success of this car the last year or two will almost certainly show a mazdaspeed version.

Who knows, maybe this car is so popular that there will be a turbo disi version of the 3 available from teh get go in 2009 or 2010 whenever the new 3 is released.

Waiting until 2009 or 2010 I can do. The next car I get I expect to keep 10-15 years, and this one is still running strong, so I guess I can be patient.
