New to board, Production number

Hello everyone,
Im new to the board and just wanted to relay my production number, its #93. I believe my girlfriend and I are the only ones with a Mazdaspeed in Iowa, of course, thats not saying much.
Being the owner of an RX-7 and a Toyota Celica Alltrac, I couldnt pass the chance up to own a Mazdaspeed. Actually the car is my girlfriends, she's cool enough to know whats hot and whats not and we're both huge mazda fans. The only thing we've done so far is a Monster Tach, but we are looking to do a boost, oil and a/f guages on a full pillar mount and a Turbo timer with BOV next.

wow, a monster tach you say does the stock one not work good enough for you? did you mount it down near the shifter which seems to be the most functional spot for the ricers around town?

Everyone up here mounts them up on the pillar so you can see them hit the shift lite when you're racing. That is IF they are wining.

Nope sorry, I've only got so much ricer in me. The Tach is up on the a-pillar just below where all of the full gauge set is going to be. My profec-B and HKS Carbon-Ti muffler came in today so I'll post some pics of the exhaust. As far as the reliabilty of the tach goes, if you go back and use your SEARCH function, you'll see that problems have been well discussed. Geez, you must be a noob or sumthin'.

welp i own a msp and my tac works just fine no problems at all. and im not adding a ******* huge as tact to my car that "tells me when to shift" lol. I'll shift when i dayum well pls.

Hmmm, maybe you're confused about a shift light there Erkel. It's only a suggestion, and when you're scooting down the track the last thing you wanna do is take your light off the stretch to see when to shift. If you actually raced you might know something about that. I would have thought better from a Mazda forum, but since for many of you this is the first mazda you've ever owned, I understand the dilemma.

You know I'm really starting to wonder if people are that stupid. I mean you think all the civic owners think the more gauges they have the faster their car is? I've seen tons of civics with altezzas on and a muffler and intake and like 6 gauges in their car. Seriously how many friggin things do you need to monitor in a almost stock civic or one with not that much improvement?

they are. thats why i turned my steering wheel into one big ass mother ****** tach.no problem seeing it there and i even installed a traffice light to hang from the rear view mirror to allow me to know when to shift. i figure i got about another 30 rwhp out of this set up

I'm always too busy driving to make use of a bigger tach when it would be necessary.
I use my ears as a "shift light"...

"all praise the wankel" now, if you really want to talk about the MSP and how ricey it is, mine it just as ricey as yours i guess minus the oversized useless tach.

what size carb you running on your first gen anyway?
