Hello all. Seanmcsean here with an announcement. I have just been made a moderator of the Mazda6 community here on the boards. A lot of you guys probably already know me from posting here on the 6 boards, but for those of you who don't, here's a quick rundown.

I have a 2004 6i 5door that I've owned since late may and I've just recently installed a CAI, done some audio work, and I have a suspension kit in the works. I do all my own mods, as I have on my other cars. Im an active member of Mazdateam Midatlantic (MTMA) and I also post on mazda6club and my car is on eastcoast6.com as well. So you can say since I've purchased my 6, I've been quite obsessed with it!!

Besides introducing myself, I also would like to discuss a few changes in this section of the forum. First of all, a new domain name MZSPD6.com has been created just for us 6 owners. So now you can change all your bookmarks and favorites to this domain. Use it up guys!! Many of you may have also noticed that several sub forums have been created. Starting soon, I will be moving threads into the sub forums to encourage their use. So if you suddenly notice a thread you have been posting in isn't in the general forum, don't fear. Check the sub forums!! I'd like to see us utilize these new forums as much as possible.

To bring an end to this gargantuan post, I'd just like to say I look forward to being the mod of this community and I'd like to see the 6 board grow and have the same user involvement as the rest of the forums on this site. Overall I want this forum to be one of the best 6 forums out there on the 'net! So keep up the good work guys. Have fun. Post it up, and thanks for reading this post that rivals War and Peace. (assuming you did)

Thanks!
Sean G

I'd like to see more moved threads and activity in the sub-forums guys...let's make more progress with this transition. Thanks!

I nominate Necessity to mod...he's the only 6 owner whose tracked his car enough to require replacing all four rotors. (the solid rotors...cracked).

It takes some pretty madskilz to crack solid rotors...thats mod material there!

I was happily driving down the street when I noticed an unfortunate grinding noise. And through no fault of my own and based entirely on poor mazda design, my rotors had an unfortunate end;)

I did send in an application earlier this week, but received no response about it. I had just assumed the spot was filled.

Got your app Necessity...I appreciate your support...just been uber busy as usual...I'm still thinking if we need another 6 Mod at this time...I will respond to your pm this weekend so keep an eye on your inbox!

Eventually I'd like to have a real solid team to boost activity in our Mazda6/MS6 community...that means more Tech...more How To's...more engaging threads...more exposure...more members!

It will be a reality...just need the right people on my team!
