Just wondering if anyone has swapped the seats in there msp at all. I like the seats in there now but i want racing harness in it. They make you feel so safe when your on the track or just driving. I was looking at sparco or momo. Anyone have any ideas.

i got custom sliders made by corbeau, corbeau a4 seats, and corbeau 3 point harnesses. all those things for about a grand. i got pics, lemme know - chris

if your getting harnesses you need a roll bar unless you want to roll over and break your neck.
I kina figured we'd have to add some type of anchor, but is ther anyway to use the stock belts?? I have a friend that has some racing seats in his integra, and it is a pain in the ass to get in and out of, and I'm in and out of my car all day long at work.

yeah, like i said earlier man. they are fun for abou 15 minute. they are inpractical and just an all around pain in the ass.

"Roll Bar" for the harness. Like was said earlier. Some people try to hook the harness to the floor behind the seat. Although it seems to work, it wont at 100+ MPH. The bolt will pull out and YOU WILL DIE!!!! :)

Some people have the seats and harness but still use the stock one as well at highway speeds. Sounds dumb but could save your life if you aren't interested in the roll bar. It's also a great place to mount a camera!!

They are a little wide for the space in the car but they are damn comfy seats. I would know I've sat in his.

plus the rear mountin point has to be high enough to have the belts at a certain angle to be legal in race events.....racing harnesses are worthless for daily driving and as stated a pain in the ass.....

yes, 3 point are a pain in the ass for daily driven hehe. i just put my stock belts in and keep the 3 point for show use.

yup, andrew (melicha) got to ride in them and i finally solved the rubbing problem. piece of paper between the pillar and seat ;) ghetto, but hey, it works lol.

ill post pics soon. peace - chris

L8R,
What seats are you those? A4's?

Anyone,
Where can a roll bar be had? I know shawn from mazdaformance has an extensive cage in his mp3-t but I would just like something to mount the belts to.
