New RX-8

So I went to the dealer today to just look around to kill some time and ended up buying an rx-8. I am going to miss the p5 when I take it in for the trade but I don't think I'll miss it for to long when I start driving the rx-8(rockon). So I got an 05' velocity red 6 speed for 14,000 they gave me 12,500 for the p5. I will be posting some things off of the p5 for sale in a few days.

thanks for the heads up on the oil. Also is there a break-in period on the motor.

actually they don't, only about 1/3qt every 1500 miles or so on my 8

i stock up on oil when it's on sale because i do my own oil changes, and i do 3000 mile intervals because i'm picky like that, AND i drive about 3000 miles every month and a half or so (evil)

brand new 8? if you want to be anal you can follow Racing Beat's break-in procedure (search on rx8club for instructions, i can't find the link on Racing Beat's site) or you can just follow owner's manual's break-in procedure, and just take it easy and vary the RPM's for the first 600 miles, and then have at it (evil)
