damn man thats alot of money for 4 pieces of metal. Why the hell are car parts so over priced, it pisses me off so much

Yeah, I know! I have Chrome 17's on my other car and I payed $1800 for them about 3yrs ago!

I think that a 40 offset is gunna be a little tight on the P5. I believe that 48 is best.

They are listed to fit! so thats what i'm hoping. 45 is the only other size

whould of gotten the +45 it'd be closer

Do you really think I'll rub? I only have the 3/4'' Mazdaspeed drop.
Now Ya'll got me worried!

or am I confused, the guy told me that the lower the offset, the further the rim will be towards the outer fender. Your not telling me that I'm going to be to close to the frame are you?

nope. you're gonna rub the crap out of those tires, that's all. if you enter a turn hard, you'll rub. if you have people in the back and turn easy, you'll rub. running 215 tires on a 7.5" rim needs a +48 offset to fit. that's 8mm you're under, so you'll rub. guaranteed. 8mm off on the offset would basically mean your wheels will either sit right under your fender lip or it'll stick out a tad.

edit: i take it all back. i thought i read your wheels are 7.5" wide... but since they are 7" wide, you will still rub, but not so bad. you'd want to run 205 tires instead of the 215 though cause 205 with a 42 offset will barely make it according to the fitment recipe. with 215 tires, you'd want +45 offset. so yeah... good luck.

I know a guy with stock springs on a P5 and +42 offset. he rubs on bumps, and hard turns. if you lower it any, it'll only get worse.

you'll still rub your fender lips when you drive hard or if you have people in it.

OK,Thanks.

I guess I'll see if I can change the offset on my order Monday at lunch.

45+ will be OK right??? Thats my only other option!
