yes. +45 will be ok. you can run 215's with a +45 offset.

Thanks alot! I'm trying to get rims I haven't seen yet and thats why I chose these wheels!

you might be ok
BUT.. ive got 18 x 7.5 with a 48mm offset and a 1.3 inch drop.. no rubbies..

I 've got +45 and I'm slammed and I've never rubbed, but its close as hell. but I have an MP3 though, which is supposed to have a little more clearance than the P5

that means the p5 is more picky in terms of what it can and can't take. definitely get the +45 offset and you'll be golden. it'll look sweet. matthew has +45 offset riding 215's and lowered on teins and his doesn't rub.

boostisgood!!!! WHY??? why wheel spacers? all wheel spacers does is push the wheels outwards more. how are you going to tell me that putting another object between the mounting surface and the rim going to somehow make the wheel sit inside the wheel well better? if anything, it makes it worse. people get wheel spacers so they can push their wheels outwards by a few mm so the wheels don't look so small and skinny.

P5 is supposed to accept 2-3 mm more offset. I've read. In fitment guide post.

They don't do it to hide the wheels like you think. A lot of the VW guys do it to get the wheels to sit flush with the fender. My roommate has 18x7.5s on his Jetta & he is running 5mm spacers in the front & 20mm in the rear:

that's what i mean. spacers push the wheels outwards. it gives the wheels a better look cause it is closer to the fenders. spacers cannot do the opposite, meaning they can't pull the wheels inwards towards the middle of the car.
