New pics and developments of my msp

awesome job, cant wait to see the dyno on this, this is pretty much exactly what I want to do but I dont have that kind of money now :(

For those that may be wondering... (I'm sure many already know, so don't shoot me), but the reason that his forged pistons make a little racket when cold is due to a slightly larger bore size. Forged slugs are denser than cast and will expand more when heated. The engine builder has to run a little extra piston to wall clearance or the pistons would seize when they got hot.

Just thought I'd answer the question for those that may be too timid to ask.

*Edit*

And KICK ASS ride by the way! I definitely need to keep an eye on your findings since I won't be taking those steps until the warranty is out (or close to out).

this is for the oil pressure sender. I couldnt fit the sender into the tee on the back of the block so i am just letting it hang out until i can find somewhere else to tap the sender. AMybe the oil pan i dunno.

Wouldnt that kinda thrash the cylinder walls until the pistons are hot? Never knew that forged pistons expanded, thanks for the info.

I love the seats also, my fav, do you by chance work for an import company? This project seems like it would cost an arm and a leg. But its what I hope to accomplish someday, your just paving the way for the rest of us.

Thanks for answering this question again for the 1,000th time. No matter how many times it gets answered, not everyone know yet.

Sure there is a little more wear on the walls at idle. But keep in mind that I have been rolling on my JE Pistons and Pauter Rods for over 35,000 mi (in less than a year), and I'm still not loosing any oil yet! I drive like 45 miles one-way to work.

haha i dont work for an import company but i do have friends that help out and have great connections. So ar i ahve spent over 12K on mods alone. I go to school right now, and am fortunate enough to have parents generous enough to fund both my tuition and rent as well as buying me the car.

I know many will say that i am just living off of my parents, but I am very grateful for what my parents have done for me so it isnt like it is in vein. All the mod money is my own however.

Soon, i hope to be making good numbers.

I think you'd better learn to spell "vain", or your parents may decide to rethink their generousity in regards to your tuition! LOL, j/k. Good Luck.
