Hi, my name is Luin (pronounced Lou-in) and ive been a alcoholic for 5...... whoops wrong forum! :)

I recently picked up a 02 P5 5speed with 83,xxx miles on 9-14-09 and have been lurking around for a few days and have learnt sooooo much that I thought I would come on here and thank all the great members on this forum!!

Its just a basic all option P5, with dark cloth interior.

I live in the SW Missouri area in a city called Nixa, which is 10 miles south of Springfield, and P5s are all over the place here! haha

Now for the good part, here is pictures of my P5.... Dont mind the rear end bumper damage. :)

My plans right now is just to drive it for the winter, do a few "DIY" goodies to it, keep it clean and when spring comes around DROP IT LIKE ITS HOT!! :) I have actually did a quick photoshop of what I would like it to sit.

Its going into the body shop next week for a full "look over" and get any "blemishes" (like the rear bumper, small dent in the back, and front plate mounting holes **photoshoped out in pictures**) taken care of.

At first I wast really digging the wheels, but after I lowered it in photoshop, I can live with them. :)

I look forward to interacting with other members as much as possible on this forum and taking my P5 to the next level!!

Oh yeah, im also going to work on the stereo BIG TIME. I will make a post when I start my project, as it will be H-U-G-E. I havent had a good vehicle in a while to have a nice stereo in, till now. My previous vehicle was a 96 Lexus SC300 (was getting ready to blow up) and the gas tank was right behind the passenger seat in the trunk, so I really couldnt do a nice sub pass through without LOTS of fabrication that I really didnt want to do to a 191,xxx mile car.

So without further adue' I go back to lurker mode. :) Just kidding, I will be involved in this forum alot, so watch out!!

Welcome welcome!! Car looks good and lookin forward to seeing it progress!!

Thanks for all the welcomes!! The first thing I plan on doing is taking off the pinstripes. Ive never been a fan of pinstripes. Next im going to work on the exhaust, cause its just too quiet. :) I want people to hear me rolling in. haha!

Also, I will do a search, are their holes behind the badges? If so, thats something else I will get my body man to take care of for me. :)

Wanna buy a turbo setup :)

Welcome!

If you still have it next year, yes! haha! I can't afford it right now with all the tags, title, insurance, my car note, and I have to save up for the "strut bags" for it. :)

Welcome! Glad to see another new P5 member even if it is 22v. lol

And to answer your question. Yes, there are holes behind the badges on the hatch.
