need more downpipes too!! i would've definately gone through with a mani as well but i just bought a used steedspeed.

ya i am not going to be installing anything over winter either since its in storage until spring anyway, but would be nice to at least have all deposits made so tom can start production and we know the ball is rolling.

tom pope is not running a group buy through M24/7. we are just spreading the word of what is going on. all details are on popeperformance.com i already contaced Antoine and gave him the heads up on what's going on.
is it a group buy? i thought it was a gathering of interest where as if you wanted to part take in his endeavor you would sponsor a 25 deposit where if everything goes well it goes toward a possible purchase on his website but if it fails or does not go through you receive your money back.

we are all watching. Hopefully this does not take the months and months like his last group buy with zero communication.
Plus its still a GI as the $25 is to see if people are serious or not before giving money away without time frames for finished product. I also hope these new manifolds are better than the last ones he made.
Pope is not an approved vendor or authorized vendor on Mazda24/7 either so hopefully everything goes smoothly.

I will be sending a deposit for a manifold here in the next few days.
What's wrong with his previous manifold? I'm on V3 on his stock replacement manifold and love it. Its well built with good solid welds (I'm a welder so I know lol)

some of his originals are starting to show their age like many other parts and not everyone likes the look of a flat manifold. I think he has much better parts than any of the other options that were every talked about or made. I just hope that he can get these ones done in a timely manner for everyone since he is a one man show.
He has done all transacting through his site so this is really just a discussion. I have personally not received any pms in relation to this. Hell havent heard from pope at all heh.

+1 its the holidays its a 1 man show dont expect anything till January. Its not a giant business with dead lines. This is a guy in his garage possibly just wanting to help us out. Like I said before he's excited about this and I can wait plus it gives me time to collect my money. Kids, Birthdays and holidays within these two months killin the bank roll I do understand for thoughs who need a mani to get there car rolling again but this should not have been your primary savior because there was never any conformation of this even ever going through you should of thought of other arrangments prior to this. If Pope is watching thanks Boss for helping the community out and Happy holidays!!

Just a heads up to anyone with an aftermarket exhaust manifold. There is such little clearance with the larger DP that if the turbo doesn't hang exactly as it did stock, you will run into fitment issues. I'm running the MAM stock replacement manifold and the Pope downpipe does not clear the oil return flange. I've tried grinding it down, but that is not an option. I now have to relocate the oil return to the oil pan and plug the oil girdle.
