I purchased my MS3 just last weekend and just 2 weeks prior I also purchased a 2007 RX8 for the wife. I guess I can call myself a member of the Mazda Family now. (peep)

I must say that I love the car and I'm very happy with my choice. My previous car was a Honda S2000. The RX8 has the same type of driving experience, but the MS3 just feels more...how can we say....Manly I guess is the word. Its just more of a guys car and feel to it. I love the look and the inside is just amazing.

The only downside is that I have to get use to shifing at 5700 RPMs as with both the S2000 and the RX8 they RPMs are much higher and I have gotten very use to that. I also have to get use to driving a FWD car again as it has been about 10years sense my last one. The torque steer has scared the crap out of me a couple times now due to the power of the MS3 (shocked)

In the next week I will be adding a CAI and getting the windows Tinted. After that I'm not sure. Possibly a new exhaust and BOV but not much else.

Thanks for reading and this forum has already been very helpful for me concerning my MS3 and questions I had.

welcome to the family!!

needs pics of ms3 and rx8 side by side... seriously come on you think you could say you just bought those two and we weren't going to ask for pics!

Nice choices man. I can say im part of the fam too. I have had 2 mx-6 a probe gt and now an ms3. So pretty much all mazda my whole life.

How is the rx-8 anyways, is it even fun to drive unless your in a corner?

Anyways welcome to the forum.

The RX8 drives great. The gear box is very nice as is the ride. It handles almost as well as my S2000 and feels very simular in ride but a bit more refined I guess. The performance is not the same as the S2000 but close and lord knows it drinks gas faster than Jindsey Lohan downs a shot.

Check out the corksport motor mount inserts and the TWM shifter bushings. they are both like 35 dollars each, but makes shifting a lot smoother.

Is the rear mount easy to DIY with minimal tools or is it something I would have to get a shop to perform?

Also, I read somewhere that someone used Epoxy to stiffen their mounts. Is this possible?

Easy 30 minute install. Ramps or jack stands are required and you may want to use a torque wrench to make sure it is on tight enough. Here is the link to the install directions. http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123654175

Epoxy is the $2 fix and some people swear by its results.
