New muffler on Protege 2001 ES 2.0L

Hello,

My new muffler has been installed on my protege. The muffler is from Magnaflow (http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=771).

My problem is that the muffler is inclined and I don't like the way it look this way.

Anyone have/had this problem? Is it possible to fix it ?

Try bending the hangers. That might angle it the way you want.

Oh, did you just buy a muffler, then have it welded on? If so, chances are they did a poor job of welding it on, and angled it. I see SO many bad weld jobs rolling down the road: Angled up, down, left, and right, burning the bumper, melting plastic, rattling... You name it.

I tried to talk with the garage that installed it but they said it's the paid they can do...

I paid 100$ to get it installed... I'am pissed off!

Learn your lesson ant not go to some shop to put a muffler on and instead buy a catback system only to find you wasted your money and get laughed at

Well I went to "Monsieur Muffler" (not a random muffler shop) to get this muffler installed.

What should I do now? ( I want it fixed ). Any tips?

Find a shop that will bend you a new axle back section, would be pretty much the only good solution I see here... Don't be surprised if you get charged 200ish dollars.

go out and spend 410 on an RB Catback. And put your current muffler on ebay.

Take your reciept and go to the shop. Talk directly to the shop manager. Tell him that you are not satisfied with teh work that was done and that you want it corrected. Be firm but dont' be an ass.

the shop i went to charged 75 bucks for instalation and he angled it anyway i wanted

Looks like your prob going to end up spending the amount getting it fixed then if you would have just bought the whole exhaust and running it front to back?
