Hey everyone- just wanted to say hi. It's snowing here in S.Jersey so I figured I'd upload some pics of my new Proteg5. Check them out at: http://photos.yahoo.com/lazerbluep5
I also uploaded some pics of my last car (the one I traded for the P5). It's not much, BONE STOCK, but I spruced up the first pic visually via non other than Photoshop 7.

Yeah it was hard parting with her. I put alot into her that I wasn't even pictured. Me and a friend used to run a site called FXtreme.org which was pretty much all Tiburon aftermarket and performance. The worst part was I only got $5,100 for a trade and I owed 10k. So needless to say my payments on the P5 are over $400 a month, UGH. That's not even factoring in the big racket they have in NJ called insurance. I pay over 3k a year on that! More than likely I'm the member shelling out the most money monthly to drive this vehicle. lol
Ya know it's funny because I just visited your site a few days ago and was meaning to email you about your car. Very VERY nice man. I'll email you later today if not early next week. (mainly just questions about chroming the cam and heat sheild)

Man that sucks (for the trade). I would imagine that a private buyer would have given you a lot more. I have thought of trading mine for a WRX or maybe a Mazdaspeed Pro, but I know trading is not an option for me, I would have to sell privately in order to make some of what I have spent on accesories back.

Yeah, it was a 99- when I financed that I was out of equity about 5K trading in a 97 Tiburon. Needless to say when you a couple of trades before the loan is paid off you dig yourself deeper in negative equity. Especially with Hyundais, they don't hold their value at all. Crossing my fingers on Mazdas though.

That isn't a photochopped background. It's a bunch of filters run on 1 original pic I took. I'm an art major and am trying to break off from typical illustration into digital art. I'd like to post a larger version of it here but don't know where to upload it to link it to a thread. Any input?

If you go under user cp. Then to manage files. You can upload an image and put it in your post. Once you upload the image highlight the loction and copy. Then when you click the post reply button at the bottom. You'll see a box above the typing area with an IMG button. Click it ,and paste the location. Like this:

Well 2070 every six mos for insurance. (My record's not that bad either.) and 385 a mo car payment. 2070/6=345. 385+345=730. Plus 400+ miles a week worth of gas.

Yeah I'd be up for a meet however I don't have much to show beings I'm keeping the car pretty much visually stock. I'm probably not even going to lower it. It's nice having a car with good ride comming off of driving a car with 40 series tires and a 1.75" drop- UGH. Felt like the princess and the pea I could feel even the smallest bumps! I'm probably going to do the Injen intake and Racing Beat cat-back- as long as my dealership doesn't give me guff if/when I bring it in for warranty work. It was such a pain with the Tiburon. I had to go to war to get them to work on the smallest things on it!
