Im interested in upping the boost in my MSP to around 10psi.....

If i could get a low and high costs parts list that I would need to do this along with turbo management stuff it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Spicymofo

ive checked the site out but am still new to turbos as this is my first one... what else would i need besides the mbc?

....to get to 10psi? Just the MBC and a boost guage to measure. You'll want some more airflow, too, so grab a K&N cone filter or buy a CAI (though I suggest waiting until more companies come out with one. I'm installing the INJEN tonight, but they're a bunch of dicks to do business with!) For high price there's a ton of electronic boost controllers (HKS, Greddy, etc) that'll work...but if you're just gonna go 10 psi full time, the MBC and a boost gauge are all you need.

im not much for cai, i had a 96contour with one and it ended up changing air-fuel mixture so much it threw unburnt threw cats and melted the honeycomb...

how bout just a drop in k&n?

The drop in isn't a waste of money, per say...but I just installed the CAI tonight (HOLY MOLY, it's nice!) and it's good. If you haven't noticed about your car yet, the tail pipe is probably pretty black. That means we're running rich as hell...the CAI isn't gonna hurt it. Again, though, if you don't feel like shelling out the cash and just want something simple slap on the k&n cone filter to replace the stock air box, or talk to MemphisRacer (Corey) about his lower cost SRI. JoeP may even be running on the stock box...just make sure you keep it clean...mine was full of leaves and crap!! UGH!

cool, thx for the info. ive been checkin out the greddy profec b and apexi avc-r on ebay. anything else i would need to get to go along with one of those?

if the apexi unit isn't a boost controller don't buy it, you don't need it.

you can either get the profec b(or another electronic boost controller) or joep's manual boost controller, cheaper and does the same thing. just buy a boost gauge and a boost controller, and turn the boost to where you want it. ~10 psi seems to be the average for msp owners.

beware- this will void your engine warranty.

you don't need any engine management btw.

after the boost controller, get a drop in filter, downpipe and 3" exhaust. enjoy the car on a curvy road and be safe!
