New Mazda SUV...

I'm OK with their paint colors. It's the interior colors that need improvement IMO.

New SUV called "CX-X"

Mazda CX-X SUV confirmed

May not also be limited to the USA!

"The head of Mazda North America, Masahiro Moro, told motoring.com.au the CX-X could be sold in Australia, Mazda’s fifth largest market.

“That will depend on how much Vinesh [Bhindi, Mazda Australia manager director] needs to get it. We are a business, we can try,” he smiled.

Mazda Australia boss Vinesh Bhindi indicated that he’s very interested in offering another SUV in Australia but observed that it was still early days."

Neat. It will be awhile though - that factory doesn't exist yet, they haven't even picked or announced a location.

Yep, the process for structures that large takes years. They need to choose a site, go through preliminary designs, environmental processes, design reviews, permitting, etc. That process will likely take 3-5 years. After that comes construction...another 2-5 years. Fit up, staffing, QC, yadda yadda...likely another 2 years. So think sometime around 2025 to 2030.

I'd say a little earlier than that
I'd be willing to put a friendly wager on it...(2thumbs). I'm an Architect, and although I've never completed a structure that large, I've done a few +100K SQ' facilities, and the process can easily take that long. It doesn't HAVE to, but it can.
