New Intercooler having some bad hesitation

I just installed the begi fmic and don't have a boost controller. i will be installing it in a few weeks and the question was concerning the hesitation. in first gear it is about ten times worse than normal. all other gears are fine but in first around 5500 rpms i get it really bad. the engine basically looses all HP and i HAVE to shift. If anyone knows a quick fix until i get a boost controller on or if even the boost controller will fix it? thanks

Make sure all your hoses and piping are tightly connected. Just to double check, you did reset your ecu, too, right?

Most likely a leak somewhere in your new piping from your FMIC. Better fix your car before you add a boost controller.

yea i did reset the ecu and it is just weird cause it is only happening in first gear. I am going to double check the hoses but i think it might have something to do with the car runnin in limpth? mode. i have a MIL eliminator on and i just havent gotten a bung for the rear o2 sensor put in yet. i think when that gets done the car will think it is running stock so it might fix it. oh well i will find out soon enough cause i am gonna take it to a shop to get a bung put on soon.

You ever figure this out, I'm about to buy a begi FMIC, and you're scaring me (nervous)

Yeah i'm pretty sure he did. I talked to him last week and he didn't mention it at all.
