My sale fell through!! Now I have about 4 weeks to find a buyer for my Grand Am or risk getting jobbed by the dealer on a trade-in.

yeah that sucks... my sale almost did the same thing, but i officially get rid of the protege wednesday, $4800 with the rims (the guy got a damn good deal)

I went to a Grand Am owners forum and posted my car for sale - maybe that will help. Next I am going to make a flyer and post it all over Wilmington. Last resort will be to put it up on cars.com or autotrader.com.

I am thinking of offering my subs and amp as part of the deal for my car, too.

I am kind of stuck on my p5 trade in by 2K upside down stock. They told me worth more to them modded, so will see if they pay it off modded. If they do that, then might deal on the ms3. Just wondering if anyone has a set price for theirs yet? Dealers are talking msrp to me.

Some guy at Mazda Customer Service. I emailed him my VIN on Friday and he responded yesterday. I sent the email to mazdavisitors@mazdausa.com.

I'll send over the info on my Grand Am sometime this week. Thanks again.

Don't know about the trade in value on the P5, I'm keeping mine as a daily driver. The MS3 seems to be pretty close to MSRP for most. Find a small dealership with lower overhead for a good price. I'm still satisfied with the price I got, with taxes and fees I'm just at MSRP for the GT.

I talked to my local dealer today (San Jose California). They have a shipment of 3 GTs due in the first week of OCt. SHe showd me the order and shipment list that she prints out twice a week. Pretty exciting. I wish i could afford the GT cuz then id have one real soon. But i want a silver sport and thats still being produced so i may see it in Nov or early Dec. Waiting sucks sdoesnt it.

I am trading my P5 hopefully, which I owe 2K more than it is worth. So you ordered yours, and total cost out the door is MSRP basically? That is good to know. I just want to know I am not getting ripped off. If I just pay down my car the next couple months, I can just go to kbb.com and buy through them, or carsdirect.com and not deal with the dealer.

Call from salesman today, said that my car was on a ship on its way over here as of 9/9, set to arrive in port 10/4, and at the dealer between 10/16 and 10/28.

Good news that the end is near and the car is at least out of japan!

Call from salesman today, said that my car was on a ship on its way over here as of 9/9, set to arrive in port 10/4, and at the dealer between 10/16 and 10/28.

Good news that the end is near and the car is at least out of japan!

Funny, because he called me too. According to him, my car shipped on 9/8, with a port arrival date of 10/10, and a dealer arrival date of the "4th week of October", i.e. 10/23 to 10/28.

He's funny.

Hopefully, this one will hold up. I am supposed to deliver my Grand Am tomorrow, $2900 cash. If everything goes as planned, I'll have my downpayment for the MS3 & be able to get my payments below $400.

Thank you. Very informative! I just got married a week or so ago so I need to review my current policy anyway and add my wife to it... I'll have to double check my policy but I'm pretty sure I'm over insured at this point to begin with. Insurance on this is looking similiar to my mustang's from what I saw. Can't wait till you two have your rides in!
